Investigating and prioritizing factors affecting on Human Resource Management Professionalism in Tehran Regional Electric Co.

In today's organizations, an effective human resource management as the most important organizational source- especially in critical industries such as electricity industry- is not achievable unless having a systematic, specialized and professional perspective. Professionalism is a perfect and holistic view to a work or working situation that it encompasses a comprehensive mastery in affairs and it stems from work involvement, a lot of experience and necessary and sufficient knowledge acquiring about that issue to meet customers' needs. This essay has been made from a relatively comprehensive survey in HRM field of TREC and tries to review literature of professionalism in management and HRM then analyzes internal and external organizational factors affecting on HRM professionalism as a whole and finally, necessary suggestions are presented according to the effect of each factor, such as the role of academic centers, institutes, research associations, professional communities, institutions and supportive rules and regulations, appropriate competency models, the role and position of HR administrators and finally, professional and ethical HR codes and standards.
